Syracuse to NYC for $1

…if you book early.

Megabus will begin service in Syracuse starting Dec. 4, and if you make a reservation early enough, you can find fares for as low as a dollar to popular Northeast destinations.

This announcement was made in October, so by now, it might be hard to find the dollar fares.

However, there were $19 one-way fares to NYC for Dec. 7 (just in time for winter break for SU students) listed on their site today, which is still a lot less than the $32 to $55 fares from Greyhound or $54 to $103 fares from Amtrak.

So even if you can’t find one dollar tickets now, you just might be able to for spring break.

Megabus expanded from Europe to Chicago in April 2006. Most of their standard and double-decker buses come with Wi-Fi.
